Donning sweater vests and each armed with a razor-sharp wit, Paul and Robbie Rescigno are like Cain and Abel, but with more singing and less fratricide. In The Rescignos, the titular twin brothers star in a musical comedy show that hearkens back to an old-school vaudeville act with contemporary material and brand-spanking new music. If “old-school” feels redundant, we only need to remind you: they’re twins. Redundancy is what they do best.
PAUL RESCIGNO has been twin for as long as he can remember. Most recently, Paul appeared in the season finale of ABC’s Black Box. He has been in numerous theatrical productions including Twelfth Night, The Comedy of Errors, and Kiss Me, Kate. You may remember his thrilling turn as “Moonbeam Munchkin” in Christmas in the Land of Oz. He had more lines than Robbie in that show. Paul can also be seen in the feature film Tenure starring Luke Wilson. To make money, Paul works at the Late Show with David Letterman. He has a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Robbie only graduated Magna.
ROBBIE RESCIGNO shares many of the same life experiences as his brother Paul. They also share many of the same theatrical credits. (See above.) But he has also done some things on his own! Things like appearing in Molly Shannon’s Tilly the Trickster, and Mr. Chickee’s Funny Money with the Atlantic Theater Company. He received a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University and studied at Shakespeare’s Globe in London.
